Primer nevada de Invierno

Well, finally I'm in house , safe and warm. Fortunately I'm not in the news, bus a suddenly (not expected) snow storm have blocked my team (students) and me in the Andes mountains. Thank goodness our bodies and our mule's bodies have been capables of resist the under -25 ºC . But we have installed the sensor to mesure the amount of snow along 54 km in the international route from Mendoza (Argentina ) to Valparaiso (Chile). The sunday, afeter a 3 hours march, we can see this scene ( International Route blocked by snow and totally collapsed) . We want to to thaks to Carlos Vieiera from San Pablo - Brasil (Transportadora Volta Redora) that carry us (and our mules) to the nearest bus stop at 123 km . The bad news is that my laptop is still at 4700 meters over sea level , and I will recover it next september springtime . Thik about that. More than 3.000 trucks are still stoped at the border in Argnetina. The same amount is blocked in Chile waiting to pass to Argentina. All thes people have no water, no bathroom and litle supplies to eat or drink some coffe.
